Travel Insurance

I never really thought about insuring my vacation against the many things that can happen to cause you to have to cancel the trip, or even ruin it after you’ve arrived.

But when I was in the vacation rental industry I was briefly educated on the advantages of this type of insurance. Anything can happen and it’s well known bad things happen at the worst possible times. Like when you are about to enjoy your Labor Day weekend at the beach, and there’s a hurricane that’s heading to your destination.

That’s where Travel Guard comes in. Should a hurricane bear down on the Crystal Coast on the week you’re here you can go home to safety and still get that rent money back!

That’s not all, if you get down here and get sick or injured and can’t enjoy your trip you’ll get some money back for that too. So it’s kind of prudent to protect your vacation investment with some insurance.

I think if you purchase this through a vacation rental management firm they tack on some commission for it. So save yourself a few bucks and eliminate the middle man. :)
