Christmas vacation can be a great time to head to the beach in Emerald Isle. Some of the area rental managers are offering specials for the holiday season while others are even offering free nights for Christmas week. The cool thing about the beach during the winter is you feel like you have the place to yourself.

Sure it may be cold, but heading down for a week at the beach can be the cure for those winter blues. Plus most of the rentals in Emerald Isle are heavily discounted in the off-season. So you can stay in a much larger, modern house than you would in the summer and not spend nearly as much.

Bluewater has a deal going where when you rent the week of Christmas you get 2 free nights! If that isn’t reason enough I’m not sure what is. Sure you’re not likely to go swimming or sun bathing this time of year, but the beach is still enjoyable. I’ve spent many a winter afternoon walking down our beautiful beach.

I haven’t noticed Emerald Isle Realty offering any kind of special kind of Christmas Special with bonus nights. But they always have some attractive specials that you may want to look over before committing to any one in particular. Check often though because they constantly add new rentals at discount prices.

Sun Surf also has rentals offered at special discounts regularly. Obviously the demand in the winter is significantly less when compared to the summer rush. Sun Surf currently has an extensive list of properties on special.

Just because it”s cold doesn”t mean you can”t find a hot deal on an Emerald Isle rental for this year”s Christmas vacation. Just imagine drinking hot cocoa or egg nog and sitting oceanside and fireside at the same time. Happy holidays from Crystal Coast Rentals.

This Emerald Isle rental has a lot to offer you and your family while visiting the Crystal Coast. You may have stayed here before when it was called Narnia-West. I haven’t been in this particular rental, however when I worked for Bluewater, I had the pleasure of visiting the East side. And truth be told it has always been one of my favorite beach rental properties in Emerald Isle.

I’m sure the west side is just as enchanting since these duplexes are always similar in layout. This is a modern property that rents at an attractive rate in my opinion. Like the majority of rentals in Emerald Isle this one does not allow smoking or pets. Please respect the owners wishes, whichever property you rent.

Alpha West is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath vacation dream come true. Some holiday weeks are still available at the time of this writing. This would be an excellent place in Emerald Isle to spend Memorial Day, Labor Day, or any day for that matter. I found some pretty nice reviews online about this excellent rental.

The first one to catch my eye is a 2br almost oceanfront cottage. It rents for only $700/week. Yes, that’s right! You can have a large oceanview deck with 2 bedrooms for $700. This beach house is located in a really nice part of Emerald Isle too. I know because I lived about two bocks away from it for a couple years. The beach in this part of the island is absolutely gorgeous, and usually a lot less crowded than other places in Emerald Isle during the peak weeks of summer. I then found this one…and it could quite possibly be the best deal I’ve seen in a while. The sailfish in Emerald Isle is a 7 bedroom with 4 full baths. it is right by the first place I lived in Emerald Isle. 5204 Ocean Drive at Elizabeth/Fairfax. It looks like they only have three prime season weeks left. so you may not want to wait much longer to book and confirm your week. Check out the Craigslist ad here. i was just shocked to see such a large place for rent at such a low rate.

I also noticed some of the big vacation rental management companies are taking advantage of the free listings on Craigslist. There were several properties listed that are managed by Bluewater and Emerald Isle Realty.

Wasn’t it last year when the media was hyping the high gas prices as the latest “crisis” and rental managers were worried people wouldn’t drive down here to rent beach houses? Pure hogwash! Last year was yet another banner year for vacation rentals in our area. I’m confident that once again all the hype of the poor economy will prove to be nothing more than hype. And come the end of summer the property management companies as well as the rental by owner managers will see even more rentals than last year.

Let’s face it, the Internet has completely turned this business inside out. Some rental companies do 50% of their business online. One of the most powerful things about the Internet as it relates to vacation rentals, is people can now wait until nearly the last minute to book and pay for their rental. Naturally this is going to take some of the companies some getting used to. Many property managers could already have most of the properties rented and the money in the bank before summer even started. This is no longer the case.

At any rate the economy may have an impact on the rental industry in one or another, but I’d still hang my hat on the fact that renters will be here this year in droves just as they have been in years past.

Obviously before I can start charging for this service I will have to add some more features. It’s just that I’ve been short on time lately. Most owners that have decided to give the free listing a chance have seen it pay off very well. Take a look at this comment from an Emerald Isle rental owner.

And things are only going to get better over here. So don’t be scared, give it a shot and you too may be amazed at the results. People who find this site are definitely looking to rent your Emerald Isle beach property. At the very least they’re already interested in visiting the Crystal Coast, whether it be Atlantic Beach, Salter Path etc.

The folks who were brave enough to trust me on this little venture will always have a free spot here. Those who wait until i get everything set up, tested, and perfected will just have to be the ones who finance the fruits of my hard work.

I remember a few years ago when I worked in the marketing department of a local rental management company and home owners would start getting nervous because their rental property wasn’t booked solid by March. A lot of this is due to people holding onto their money longer, but I think much of it has been brought about by the Internet.

It wasn’t too long ago that you would be unable to even view decent images of rental properties, let alone book one in a few minutes over the web…but that’s all changed now! So I usually tell owners to keep their cool and be patient, because the rentals will come sooner or later. Probably later and later, but they will come!

If you’re waiting to book your vacation rental in the Emerald Isle area, you may not want to wait too long, someone else will be enjoying their vacation or holiday in the rental you wanted.

There were even people on the beach in Emerald Isle this weekend soaking up the sunshine and working on their tans. It surely was warm enough to get some sun, however the water is still a little too chilly for me. 

Soon our area will be bombarded with tourists checking into their rentals in Emerald Isle. Which is a good thing for our local economy. I know plenty of businesses are ready for the seaso to get into full swing. 

Personally I really enjoy the early spring since the traffic and volume of renters is at a minimum so we can still get out for a bite to eat without waiting too long. But on the other hand the scenery definitely improves a lot once the tourists arrive, if you know what I mean. 

I can also start kayaking and fishing again and not freeze to death. Living in Emerald Isle for the last few years has really turned me into a wimp when it comes to cold weather. So I can’t wait for summer to get here fast enough. 

If you’re looking for a great place to find a rental to serve as home base while enjoying the Crystal Coast, consider staying in Emerald Isle. It’s a great location for your vacation. Vacation rentals are Emerald Isle’s bread and butter, so trust me when I tell you they know how to serve them up.

But, hey you’re on vacation and if you’re like me, it only comes around once a year. So why not go all out and live like a king for a week? I live too close to the beach to have the pleasure of staying in one of these magnificent properties while on vacation. 

Those of you that travel long distance to visit Emerald Isle or Atlantic Beach however, only get to stay for a week. If your wallet can handle it, I definitely recommend staying in an oceanfront rental at least once. I’ve been in many of these properties and simply cannot imagine what it must be like to wake up early and sit on an oceanfront deck while sipping my morning cup of coffee. 

When you want to hit the beach, its only a short walk down a private walkway before your feet hit the sand. Perhaps you have a large family group getting together for a beach vacation. You may consider renting both sides of a duplex that sits right on the beach. Wouldn’t that be neat? 

There are also many condo complexes that are built right on the ocean. You’ll find these to be priced more moderately than some of the giant beach houses that sleep 25 people. 

Give it some thought, and then strap yourself in for the vacation of a lifetime in an oceanfront Crystal Coast Rental. You’ll be glad you did.

The retreat is a large farmhouse that will take you back to simpler times for a very relaxing vacation experience. Staying off the island has several advantages with regards to noise and traffic. 

Stella, NC is a quiet, and laid back kind of place. If you want to head to the beach for the day, you can be on the sand in about 15 minutes, if that. Pick fresh grapes from the vine while relaxing on the property. There are several other fruits to choose from too. Plum, apple, and fig tress also grow here.

The retreat is a great place for visitors planning to do some hunting or fishing. There’s a boat ramp very close to the retreat. 

Visiting someone stationed at an area military installation? You’d be hard pressed to find better accommodations while staying in the area. 

There’s plenty of activities to do in our area, and the Stella Country Retreat puts you right in the middle of a lot of them. The beaches, aquarium, and shopping are all very close by. 

I hope you enjoy your visit to the Crystal Coast.

Either way, you’ll find total relaxation for a night, week, even a month; if you can break away that long. Spending time on the Crystal Coast will send you back to your daily rat race completely refreshed. If you’re within a couple hours drive of the beach, you could easily shoot down here, rent a place (even if only for the weekend), get in some relaxation, and head back before most people know you’re gone.

There are places to go get a massage that will soothe most of your worries away. You could also enjoy having most of the beach to yourself this time of year. And when you go out to eat on a Friday, chances are you can walk right in and have a seat and receive excellent service since it’s pretty quiet here in the winter and early spring.

Sure the economy is a bit uncertain, but to me that seems like all the more reason to get to the coast and forget about all the bad news for a few days. Of course there will be more bad news waiting for you when you get home and check back into reality. But hopefully you’re time on the Crystal Coast leaves you prepared to once again handle the stresses and negative news you deal with everyday.
