1 Angel’s Haven is a 7 bedroom oceanfront rental in Emerald Isle. This member of Emerald Isle Realty’s Sand Castle club has 10.5 bathrooms. You will probably feel like you rented a castle for the week considering 1 Angel’s Haven provides you and your family with 6,500 square feet of living space.

I don’t think you will feel crowded in this beach house. There are 10 color TVs here so there should be no fighting about what to watch. After browsing some of the pics its easy to see why they call it a “Sand Castle”. This oceanfront home looks to be fit for a king. There’s also a media/theater room with a large screen TV and surround sound. If you’re unable to avoid working while visiting Emerald Isle 1 Angel’s Haven provides high-speed Internet access.

There’s 2 dishwashers so doing the dishes after a large meal shouldn’t be too much of a chore. If you’re not a fan of swimming in the ocean, fear not you can enjoy a dip in the oceanfront pool. The pool can be heated for an additional $600/week. No smoking and no pets are allowed. In the fall or winter you can fire up the fireplace and cuddle up to read a book.

Good decoration and well planed spaces.
We each had a quiet space to rest.
Noise did not travel from room to room.
The house keepers were friendly and did a good job.

They said they had a “Wonderful vacation” posted on September 10th, 2009. I think it would be hard to have a bad one at this beach house.

However this next fellow seems to have had not such good things to say on May 14th, 2009:

I have been vacationing at Emerald Isle for about 10 years now along with my entire family. We often come twice a year. We have stayed in Angelfish, Margharitaville, Overdraft, Casa Mare, and 1 Angels Command now known as 1 Angels Haven.

Two years ago 1 Angels Haven was beautiful and well maintained, this year I would have to say that the house coupled with the lack of attentive service from EIR made our stay less enjoyable than previous stays. The busy season has not even begun yet, so for this house to have such a run down end of season dirtiness to it is rather unacceptable. The carpets and furniture on the main living area are filthy. They need to be shampooed desperately. The ice machine is broken in the kitchen the bottom wall oven is not working correctly the air conditioning on the second floor right hand side of the house needs maintenance and can’t keep up with the temperature setting. The bedding in the house is incredibly cheap considering it is such a luxury rental. Thicker comforters should be provided. The shower heads in the end master suites are terrible and need changing.

The pool was dirty the day we got there with sand and continued to get worse as the week progressed. Despite several calls noone came for the midweek chlorine fill and cleaning causing the pool to turn green for our last day of vacation.

Additionally, because this is a sandcastle rental the maid service is due to come mid week to tidy up. We called on Thursday wondering where they were and upon their showing up they were asking us what they should do. This is ridiculous to me considering that they know exactly what the mid week tidy consists of.

I must say that we have decided to switch to renting with another company. Last year when I rented Casa Mare Emerald Isle Realty had to be called a few times as well. I feel their maintenance has become inconsistent and as a result the regular wear and tear that rentals get from frequent stays is worsening.
