Crystal Coast Rentals

I was looking in the database this evening and noticed about 50% of the rentals were pet-friendly. Opening your rental to Fido puts you at a certain advantage. When you compare the rental by owner sites to the usual property management sites you’ll notice that there seems to be more pet-friendly vacation rentals listed by owner than listed by a property management firm.

So when you apply the laws of supply and demand it seems you have less competition for a niche that seems to be getting smaller. Not that fewer people are taking their pets with them, quite the opposite I’m sure. But there seems to be fewer and fewer pet friendly rentals.

Now it’s completely understandable if you or someone in your family is allergic to pets. Obviously, you wouldn’t want to change the pet policy to get one extra booking at your or someone in your family’s health and comfort expense. It’s just one more way to stay competitive in the ever changing vacation rental market.

As a pet owner it is re-assuring to know me and my pooch could still find a pet-friendly vacation rentals should we ever leave the Crystal Coast.
